Donate Clothing
Approximately 75% of Outfitters clothing needs are met through donations of quality used, in-style clothing from individuals in the community. Your donations of new and gently used clothing are vital to accomplishing Outfitters’ mission.
Clothing Donation Guidelines
Donations of new and/or gently used clothing are gladly accepted year-round. We will be happy to provide you with a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.
What we accept:
- Children’s clothing in sizes 3T through size 18
- Adult, juniors, and young men’s clothing in all sizes
- Adult clothing should be in a style that a teenage student would WANT to wear and that is appropriate attire for school
- New or gently used shoes and sandals in all sizes
- New socks and underwear in children and adult sizes
NOTE: 90% of girls will only wear bikini style underwear and boy’s and men’s boxer briefs are always in demand.
- Handbags, jewelry, belts, new hats (especially baseball caps)
- Gently used jackets and coats in all sizes
We appreciate your clean clothing donations as we do not have the time or resources to launder all our donated clothing.

Ways You Can Help Keep Our Inventory Stocked
Clean Out Your Closets—Gently used clothes, shoes and accessories make up the majority of the stock in Outfitters store.
Purchase New Clothes—When you’re out shopping for your own children, please don’t forget the Outfitters kids. Pick out an extra shirt or pair of pants that your own children would love and donate them to Outfitters. It will put a smile on a child’s face.
The Clothesline Project—Hang one of Outfitters “clotheslines in your place of business, place of worship, club meeting place or school. We provide you with all the necessary materials to make the project fun, easy and successful.
Group Clothing Drives—Are you or your children involved with a local PTO, service group such as BETA Clubs, Girl or Boy Scouts, National Honor Society, civic group or church groups? We can help you organize a clothing drive.
Apparel Partnerships—If you or someone you know is involved in the clothing retail or wholesale business, we would love to partner with you to help clothe children in the community.
